Mason Volunteer Fire Department holds Reunion Luncheon
On Thursday September 11, 2025 members of the Mason Volunteer Fire Department
gathered at the Mason Historical Society for a Reunion Luncheon.
Also invited were the City of Mason on-duty crews, some who served
as volunteers on the volunteer department.
MHS Vice-President Perry Denehy (a retired EMS Captain MVFD / retired Fire Captain CMFD)
was the Keynote Speaker. Perry reviewed with those in attendance,
many of the accomplishments of the MVFD from it's inception in 1949 to present day.
During the lunch break, MHS Trustee Ray Mueller
(a retired EMS Lt. MVFD / Deputy Fire Chief CMFD) presented the attendees the
historic highlights of the rise of Paramedic Service to the Mason
and Deerfield Twp. communities that began in 1980 .
Many memories and adventures were shared among the attendees and a grand time was had by all!
