Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Parade & Ceremony
The City of Mason, in partnership with the American Legion and the Mason Historical Society is hosting a Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Parade and Ceremony at the Mason Municipal Campus on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 10:00am.
This event is being held in recognition of the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War. Our goal is two fold – one to capture as many Vietnam Veterans as we can to participate in the parade as well as be a part of a video interview if they feel comfortable participating.
The parade is strictly for Vietnam Veterans – however we welcome Vietnam Veterans from around the region not just Mason. The City of Mason is doing our best to reach out to local VFW and Legion posts as well as veteran related organizations. The City of Mason would like to gather as many community members as we can to attend the parade and thank our veterans who may not have received the warm welcome they deserved when they returned from the War.
